About COST
COST is an intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology,
allowing the coordination of nationally-funded research on a European level. COST contributes
to reducing the fragmentation in European research investments and opening the European
Research Area to cooperation worldwide.
Individuals, Societies, Cultures and Health (ISCH)
ISCH supports the development of knowledge and insights for citizens, democratic debate and
decision-making in the public, private and voluntary spheres. Interdisciplinary topics linking
social science/humanities perspectives with the natural, medical and engineering sciences are
particularly welcomed by this Domain, provided that the social science/humanities aspect is
predominant.
